What this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit noahyoungracing.co.uk, contact us, or sign up to Garage 95, our email newsletter and fan community.

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Garage 95 sign-up: first name, email address, how you heard about Noah, postcode area (optional), which races you hope to attend (optional), and whether you are a fan, family member, media contact, or potential sponsor.
• Sponsor enquiries via Garage 95: company name, job title, company website, phone number, and areas of interest.
• Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message.
• Technical data: standard server and security logs (for example IP address and browser type) when you use the site.
• Website analytics: we collect usage information through Google Analytics (for example pages visited, time on site, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and referral source). Google Analytics does not give us your name or email address.

We do not intentionally collect date of birth or full postal addresses through our sign-up forms.

How we use your data

We use personal data to:

• send Garage 95 email updates about Noah’s racing, results, and behind-the-scenes news;
• respond to contact and sponsorship enquiries;
• understand our audience (for example region and referral source);
• measure and improve how the website is used (through Google Analytics);

For Garage 95 email marketing, we rely on your consent. By joining Garage 95 you agree to receive email updates from Noah Young Racing. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.

For contact form messages and sponsor follow-ups, we rely on legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, or consent where you have opted in to further communication.

For website analytics, we rely on legitimate interests in understanding how our website is used and improving it.

Garage 95 and Mailchimp

Garage 95 sign-ups are processed using Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC / Intuit), which acts as our email service provider. Mailchimp stores subscriber data on our behalf and sends newsletter emails.

Mailchimp may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are used. See Mailchimp’s privacy policy for more information.

How long we keep data

• Garage 95 subscribers: while you remain subscribed, plus a reasonable period after unsubscribe for suppression and compliance records.
• Contact form submissions: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted or anonymised unless we have a longer legal obligation.
• Server logs: typically retained for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
• Google Analytics: retained according to our Google Analytics configuration (typically up to 14 months), after which data is automatically deleted or aggregated.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us run the website and newsletter (such as hosting, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics), or where required by law.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) to understand how visitors use noahyoungracing.co.uk — for example which pages are popular, how people find the site, and whether the site works well on different devices.

Google Analytics loads on every visit to the public website and uses cookies (for example _ga) to recognise browsers and measure usage. We do not use Google Consent Mode — analytics runs in the standard way described in Google’s documentation.

We have configured Google Analytics to avoid collecting data that directly identifies you (such as your name or email). IP addresses may be used in truncated or anonymised form depending on our Google Analytics settings.
